A lot of controversy is going on regarding Varun Dhawan’s most awaited film ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. The song ‘Chunri Chunri’ has been recreated in this film. This is the original song from the 1999 movie ‘Bwi No 1’. The film’s original song featured Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen in lead roles. The song was sung by Abhijit Bhattacharya. Now Abhijeet gets angry on recreating this song again.
In an interview to ANI, Abhijeet said, ‘This song was the biggest song of Salman’s life, it has been trending ever since. Chunri Chunri is the most hit film of Salman Khan’s life. At that time he was not a superstar but a rising star.

Abhijeet called Varun second hand
Abhijeet continued, ‘Varun has always worked in second-hand films, especially when the director of those films is Varun’s father David Dhawan. Varun can never be Salman. There is a huge difference between Salman and Varun. He further stated that the makers of ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ did not come to him to recreate the song. Even if he gets an offer, he thinks twice before doing it. He’s glad he didn’t sing it.
Vasu Bhagnani also expressed his anger
Producer Vasu Bhagnani said that the song Chunri Chunri from his film Biwi No 1 has been used without informing him, while the rights of the song are with me. I still own the digital and some video rights. The matter is still being heard in the court. In such a situation my song was stolen without informing me. While Varun’s film has been produced by Tips. He says he has all the rights and all the allegations of Vasu Bhagnani are baseless.

When will Varun’s film release?
Varun’s film will be released in theaters on June 5. The film stars Mrinal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in lead roles along with Varun. This is a romcom movie. The trailer of the film has been released which has received a positive response from the audience.
