Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh backed out of the film ‘Don 3’ before the shooting. The producer of the film, Farhan Akhtar, was upset with this attitude. Farhan filed a complaint against Ranveer with the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). FWICE has issued a non-cooperation direction against Ranveer. Kiara Advani was in the lead role with Ranveer in this film. She left the film after announcing her pregnancy in 2025.
This is not the first time that an A-lister star has left a film before shooting. This list includes names from Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra to Kartik Aryan.

These stars left the film midway
Salman Khan
Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali worked together in the film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. After this both were going to work together ‘Inshallah’. Alia Bhatt was in the lead role with Salman in this film. This film was also closed in 2019.
Karthik Aryan
Karthik Aryan was to be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Dostana 2’. A fight broke out between the two. The makers of the film were accused of being unprofessional. Karthik also shot for 20 days of the film with Jhanvi. Later reports claimed that Lakshya Lalwani and Vikrant Massey will be seen in the lead roles in the film.
Shraddha Kapoor
Shraddha Kapoor was to be seen in ‘Saina’, a biopic of badminton player Saina Nehwal. He also started training for the film but later succumbed to dengue. For this reason, Parineeti was cast in Shraddha’s place.

Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra was going to make a comeback in Bollywood with Salman Khan’s film ‘Bharat’ in 2019. However, Priyanka later withdrew from the film. She married Nick this year. Some reports also claimed that Priyanka chose ‘Sky is Pink’ as the film was also released in the same year.
