Bollywood rapper Honey Singh was a drug addict and also struggled with bipolar disorder. Due to this, he stayed away from the industry for some time. In his latest interview, he revealed that Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar had already told me that drug addiction would destroy them.
In the ABtalks podcast, Honey Singh talks about her success, loneliness and career downfall. He admitted that his career peaked between 2011 and 2014. During this time he was intoxicated with success, money and drugs.

Shahrukh warned
Heaney said, ‘I wasn’t happy. I was at the peak of my career from 2013 to 2014. I was not in my senses. My thought process was completely different then. I walked very differently, talked differently, respected no one. I thought I had done everything. I began to believe myself to be God. I made money and became successful at a young age and in the meantime I started taking drugs. I was in a completely different state of mind. I don’t like that version of me at all.
Talking about his downfall, he said, ‘It happened because of me and I took decisions with that mindset. I don’t blame the industry for this. I have worked with superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar. All these live their lives very simply. These people always told me to stay away from these things, especially Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. Shah Rukh Khan has said many times that these things will ruin you, you will be ruined.

Honey Singh has now given up drug addiction. In 2023, he came back with ‘Kalastar’ which is the sequel of ‘Deshi Kaartan’. He is currently busy with his music tour.
