So Chhota Shakeel made the film ‘Chori Chori Chupke Chupke’, many revelations of RGV

Director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) has made a shocking revelation about the famous film ‘Chori Chori Chupke Chupke’. RGV said that underworld don Chhota Shakeel was directly behind the film and the film’s producer Nazim Rizvi was working closely with him. Although Bharat Shah, the film’s main financier, was initially unaware of this, the entire production and funding of the film involved underworld money and interference.
Work on the film began when a man approached Bharat Shah and said he had dates for a Salman Khan film. Bharat Shah himself called Salman Khan to confirm this. When Salman said that he had given his dates to this man, Bharat Shah decided to invest in the film. Bharat Shah was a big diamond merchant at that time and he believed in this project only at the behest of Salman Khan.

Producer’s Underworld Link
The paper producer of the film was Nazim Rizvi. Shortly after the film was made, Bharat Shah came to know that Nazim Rizvi was having an affair with Don Chhota Shakeel. According to Ram Gopal Verma, Bharat Shah felt at the time that Rizvi only knew a criminal and was not doing anything wrong himself, so he treated it as a legitimate business and continued to fund the film.
A case of molestation
Ram Gopal Varma narrated an incident that at that time a businessman from the film industry received a call from the underworld demanding a ransom of Rs 5 crore. That merchant went to Bharat Shah for help, as Shah could talk to Nazim Rizvi and then Chhota Shakeel. With the help of Bharat Shah, Chhota Shakeel reduced the demand of Rs.5 crores to Rs.2 crores. After this incident, many people from the film industry started going to Bharat Shah for their problems.
Police action
While Bharat Shah was helping people, Mumbai police was tapping his phone. The police arrested Bharat Shah and Nazim Rizvi in the year 2001. Bharat Shah was accused of not informing the police about the producer’s underworld connections. He received a one-year sentence, but he had already served 14 months in prison, so he was released immediately. While Nazim Rizvi and his partner were sentenced to 6 years in jail and a fine of 15 lakh rupees for their links with the underworld.

Due to a land dispute, Chhota Shakeel gave the contract to kill Mukesh Duggal. Duggal called a person close to Dawood to close the contract and Shakeel also agreed. Mukesh Duggal was murdered three hours after that phone call. Chhota Shakeel later said that he tried to stop the shooter but could not talk to him in time.
