Is the song ‘Cocktail’ a copy of an Italian song? People made fun of Pritam

Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon’s film ‘Cocktail 2’ is the talk of the town. The second song of the movie ‘Mashuka’ has been released recently. Shahid and Kriti’s chemistry in this song has won the hearts of the audience. The audience has liked this song very much. People on social media are saying that the tune of ‘Mashuka’ is a copy of the 1993 Italian song Se So Arubate e Nonna.
A video of a 1993 Italian track with Masuca has been played on Reddit. The tunes of both the songs are very similar to each other. One person wrote, ‘Bollywood is copying again.’ Another person wrote, ‘The title tracks of both the songs sound the same.’ A third person wrote, ‘Pritam didn’t even copy this well.’ A fourth user wrote, ‘Pritam still hasn’t stopped copying songs.’ At the same time, some people say that this is sampling. Music artists do this when composing songs. This will not be called copying or plagiarism.

Musician Pritam has been accused of copying songs before. He was accused of copying the song ‘Bulaiya’ from ‘Dil Hai Mushkil’. In 2016, he admitted his mistakes and said that he would focus more on music.
