‘Lajpat Nagar wore saree in Cannes…’, Aditi Rao Hydari is being trolled

Aditi Rao Hydari became the center of attention for her Cannes Film Festival look, where she was seen in a simple saree. There is a lot of discussion on social media regarding this look and dress. Where many people are trolling her for her dress. People say who wears a Lajpat Nagar saree to a fashion event like Cannes, when people wear clothes from fashion designers like Manish Malhotra, Saisha Shinde and Masaba.
Let alone the common man, Smita Prakash, editor of news agency ANI and famous anchor, has also trolled him. Smita Prakash has described Aditi’s saree as the saree of Lajpat Nagar. Smita Prakash posted about Aditi’s outfit on Instagram. Since then Smita’s post is going viral on social media. People have two different opinions about this post on social media. While on one hand people agree with Smitha’s ideas, on the other hand many people are opposing Smitha.

What kind of saree did Aditi wear in Cannes?
Aditi wore a skinny champagne color saree. This saree has different embroidery, which is Mughal style kasab embroidery. The handwork embroidery in the saree is done with silk thread, which resembles the Charbagh design of the Mughal period. This design made the plain saree look very beautiful.
Smita Prakash got trolled
Aditi arrived at the Cannes Film Festival wearing a saree, about which ANI editor Smita said, ‘Aditi is undoubtedly looking gorgeous in a saree, though she looks like she belongs to Lajpat Nagar.’ For your information let us tell you that Lajpat Nagar market of Delhi is very famous for branded clothes replicas.
