Dead body found after three days

The newspaper has said in its report that the police have not yet decided whether this is a case of murder or suicide.

BHBCUC demands strict action

Regarding this matter, BHBCUC issued a statement demanding strict punitive action against the culprits of Nayan’s murder. A statement issued by BHBCUC said, ‘Ekta Parishad strongly condemns this incident and demands immediate arrest of the culprits and strict punishment.’

Kajal Debnath, a senior member of BHBCUC, said, ‘We are unable to understand at all what could be the motive behind the murder of an ordinary custodian of a relatively small temple located in a remote area.’ Johnny Dhar, general secretary of the Cox’s Bazar unit of the Bangladesh Puja Utsav Parishad, said Nayan’s body was recovered three days after he went missing, indicating that he was murdered. Police said that the body has been sent for post-mortem so that the exact cause of death can be ascertained.
