Has Paresh Rawal left ‘Hera Pheri 3’ again? Director Priyadarshan replied

‘Hera Ferry’ is a popular franchise. There is a lot of discussion about the third part of this film. According to a recent report, Paresh Rawal has once again backed out of the film and returned the film’s signing amount of Rs 11 lakh with 15 percent interest. Paresh Rawal has not yet given any reaction in this matter. In this matter, Director Priyadarshan replied that he did not have any information about this. This is not the first time Paresh has left a project.

The matter came into controversy in 2025. Akshay Kumar, the lead actor and producer of ‘Hera Pheri 3’, filed a defamation case against Paresh Rawal for Rs 25 crore. He said that he cannot quit this film suddenly. However, Paresh later relented and agreed to be a part of the project. Both worked together in ‘Bhoot Bangla’. Now they will be seen together in ‘Welcome to the Jungle’.

What did Akshay say on ‘Hera Ferry 3’?

Akshay Kumar said in Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, ‘Hera Ferry 3 is not being made now. I was shocked myself. No problem, welcome. Some mantras will be chanted so that everything will be fine. Not even a year has passed yet. There are many issues, there are many things, there are contracts due to which the work on the projects cannot start. In Welcome to the Jungle, the three of us together, there are some things that can’t be said directly on camera.

He continued, ‘It will come of itself, it will be built when the time comes. That’s it, until I get old.’

‘Hera Pheri’ was released in the year 2000. The film was a superhit at the box office. In this film, Akshay played the role of Raju, Sunil Shetty played the role of Shyam and Paresh Rawal played the role of Baburao. These three entertained the audience a lot in the film. Hera Ferry 2 was released in 2006. Now the audience is waiting for the third part.
