Diljit said, ‘Last December I tried to get out of this body but there is still some work to be done. There is nothing to fear. This is not just about Punjab. It is and always will be. I have left this world. This is the truth. I stand on this platform and this is my God.

Diljit continued, ‘I neither fear nor hate anyone. I love everyone. I respect everyone. I have always tried to incorporate this into my life. All the people who are with me. For them this is the name of Punjab. I am from Punjab. What do you say?’

Khalistan supporters showed flags to Diljit

In this concert, Khalistani supporters raised anti-India slogans and displayed flags. Responding to the protestors, Diljit said, ‘On every channel I go to, I only talk about Punjab. I have never talked about my songs. I did not promote anyone, I went to that channel for Punjab. Show as many flags as you want. I will pick it up and throw it out.
