Veteran Bollywood singer Asha Bhosle has passed away at the age of 92. He breathed his last yesterday on April 13 in a hospital in Mumbai. His son Anand confirmed his death on Sunday. Today, his last rites are being performed with state honours. The entire country is mourning his death. All the stalwarts of the country are mourning his death.

His last rites will be performed today at 4 pm at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Preparations have started for that. Crowds will gather for his last darshan today. Anand Bhonsle informed that people will be able to pay their last respects at Casa Grand Lower Building on Monday from 10.30 am to 2 pm. Many veteran leaders like PA Modi, Shahrukh Khan are mourning his demise. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reached Asha Bhonsale’s house and paid tribute to her.

Appeal not to gather crowds

Asha Bhonsle’s fans are saddened by her demise and crowds are expected to gather today to bid her farewell. His son Anand has made an emotional appeal in this regard. Talking to the media, he has requested people not to congregate at the Shivaji Park cremation ground. He said there was a possibility of huge crowding during the funeral, which could lead to chaos. Anand has sought cooperation from fans so that the final process can be completed peacefully.

The film industry was in mourning

Veterans of the film industry are mourning the death of Asha Bhonsle. Priyanka Chopra paid an emotional tribute to Ashaji by sharing an old picture and video on Instagram. Priyanka wrote that this loss is like losing a part of her childhood and home. Describing Asha Bhonsle’s voice as an integral part of Indian life and memories, he called her the most precious gift of the music world. Apart from this, Akshay Kumar also remembered Asha Bhosle by sharing a photo with her.

Salman Khan also wrote a post remembering Asha Bhosle. He wrote, ‘A great loss to the Indian music world. Deeply shocked to hear the news of Ashaji’s death. An inimitable voice, your songs will continue to inspire generations.

Shah Rukh mourned Asha Bhonsle’s demise and remembered her and their relationship. He wrote, ‘So sad to hear the news of Asha Tai’s demise. His voice was one of the cornerstones of Indian cinema and would continue to resonate across the world for centuries. A talent that will outlive many. He always showered me with blessings and love and I will miss him dearly. Asha Tai, may your soul rest in peace.
