‘Don’t Quit Now…’, Asha Bhonsle passes away, breathes her last at the age of 92

Veteran Bollywood singer Asha Bhosle has passed away at the age of 92. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday after suffering heart and breathing problems. His health had not been good for several months. He was brought to the hospital in critical condition and kept in the intensive care unit (ICU) on Saturday night.
Asha Bhonsale’s son Anand confirmed her death on Sunday afternoon. His last rites will be performed with state honors on Monday. Asha Bhosle is considered one of the greatest singers of modern Indian music.

Elder sister of Asha Bhonsle, she was the biggest personality in Hindi film music after Lata Mangeshkar. He started singing at the age of just 9 and recorded his first film song in 1943.
