From Akshay to Karan Johar, Bollywood is mourning the demise of Asha Bhosle.

Bollywood music legend Asha Bhosle has passed away at the age of 92. There is a wave of mourning in the industry due to his death. He created a distinct identity in people’s hearts with his melodious voice. Even though he is not with us today, but his songs will live forever in our hearts.

On April 11, he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. The news of his death came today on 12th April. She was loved by everyone. Many stars including Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Kajol, Johnny Lever have paid tribute to him.

Celebs expressed grief

While sharing a picture with Asha Bhosle, Akshay Kumar captioned it, ‘His sweet voice will be immortalized forever. Om Shanti.’

Manoj Muntashir wrote, ‘Some people were so tall that they became legends. Born on earth and became sky. Today a sky has left this earth. You will be greatly missed Tai. Om Shanti.’

Karan Johar wrote, ‘To say we have lost a legend today would be an understatement. There was no one like Ashaji. His voice was not only of a generation but of the entire cinema. I have always been a fan of his voice. I consider myself lucky that we got the chance to experience your magic.

Ravina Tandon wrote, ‘This is an incomplete loss that can never be filled.’

Hema Malini said, ‘Asha Tai is no more. I can’t believe this. I had an emotional attachment to him.

When will the funeral take place?

Asha Bhonsale’s son Anand said, tomorrow i.e. Monday at 11 am we will pay her last darshan at Casa Grande in Lower Parel where she lived. His last rites will be performed at Shivaji Park on Monday at 4 pm.
