Varun’s father David Dhawan hinted at retirement, saying this would be his last film with his son.

Director David Dhawan is known for giving comedy films. He has entertained audiences for decades with his films. His and Govinda’s pairing has always been a hit. He is once again bringing the romantic comedy film ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ for the audience. His son Varun Dhawan is in the lead role in this film.

This is Varun and David’s fourth film together. The father-son duo has always been a hit on screen. In his latest interview, David has hinted at his retirement. David said he has a good relationship with his son.

David pointed to retirement

David said, ‘A director always wants a good actor, that’s his first priority. Mine and their tuning is done. Not that a house kid would either. He will also ask questions. He has the right. Has done 13 to 14 films. David said that Varun did a good job in Border 2.

He continued, ‘This will be my last film as a director. I don’t think I will work anymore. They don’t want me to do any more work because of my health. This will be my last film. Now I will play the role of Varun’s father. I won’t get into Varun’s picture. He further said, ‘I fell ill during the shoot. I was admitted to the hospital. At that time Varun took care of me a lot.

When will ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ release?

The film stars Pooja Hegde and Mrinal Thakur in lead roles along with Varun. The film will release in theaters on May 22. Viewers are very excited to see Varun in his old style once again.
