Trump said on talks with Iran, ‘I was offered a lot of things but I turned them down’

Talks between America and Iran are being tried again and again, but things are not happening. The US has canceled its representative’s visit to Pakistan and Iran’s foreign minister has returned to his country without talks. On the other hand, US President Donald Trump says that Iran offered a lot but it rejected it. Donald Trump has also said that no one knows who their (Iran’s) leader is. If they want to talk, they have to call.

Regarding the continuation of the ceasefire with Iran, Donald Trump says that he has not thought about it yet. On the other hand, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Arghchi has also returned to his country and it is being said that he may come back to Pakistan after his visit to Oman. After leaving Islamabad, he said through a post on social media that he has given a framework through which he wants to end the US-Iran war once and for all. He also said that it remains to be seen how serious America is about this.

I turned down the offer: Trump

Donald Trump said of negotiations with Iran, ‘They gave us a paper that could have been better. As soon as I rejected it, we got a new paper within 10 minutes which was much better than the previous paper. We talked about the fact that they would not have nuclear weapons. It is very simple that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons.

The visit of the American representative was canceled

Donald Trump has written on his Truth account, ‘I have canceled the visit of my representative who was going to Islamabad (Pakistan) to meet the Iranians. A lot of time has been wasted in commuting. Despite much of the work, there remains considerable conflict and confusion over leadership. No one knows who is in command, not even they. Besides, we have all the cards, they have none. If they want to talk, all they have to do is call.

About Pakistan, Donald Trump said, ‘Pakistan is wonderful. The field marshal and prime minister of Pakistan are brilliant. We cannot travel 15-16 hours to meet people no one has ever heard of. They said there will be a discussion on Tuesday, so I said there is plenty of time left for that. It costs a lot, I pay a lot of attention to costs.

On the other hand, regarding the visit of the Foreign Minister of Iran, the Iranian Embassy said that the Iranian delegation met Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and both sides reviewed bilateral issues as well as regional developments. Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Office said that Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Asim Munir were also present in the meeting, where both sides discussed the situation in the region. In this regard, an official said, ‘It seems that Argachi has told Pakistan about some of Iran’s concerns, which Islamabad will put before the American delegation when it arrives. If the US agrees to address these concerns and show some understanding, a second round of direct talks between the two countries will be held later in Islamabad.
