‘Iran doesn’t want Hormuz closed’, Trump quotes Strong Earnings, now angry

US President Donald Trump has once again said something on the Strait of Hormuz and Iran, which has sparked a new debate. Donald Trump has claimed that Iran does not really want to close the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian regime wants to keep it open.

Donald Trump has claimed that Iran wants to earn $50 million a day from the Strait of Hormuz. If it remains closed, Iran is facing the same loss every day. Donald Trump says that Iran is only talking about stopping because the US has completely stopped it.

What does Donald Trump want?

Earlier on Tuesday, US President Donald Trump said in an interview that he does not want to extend the ceasefire with Iran. He said that America is in a strong position and a good agreement will be reached soon. He also threatened that there may be bomb blasts if there is no agreement.

Donald Trump reversed his decision just a few hours later. He announced to extend the ceasefire. He said that this decision has been taken on the wishes of Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Trump believes Iran is doomed

Donald Trump has described Iran’s government as “severely broken” and said attacks will not happen until Iran’s leaders come together and come to a joint resolution. Trump also made it clear that the US Navy will continue to blockade Iran’s ports. The blockade of Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz will not be lifted, and the US military will remain fully prepared. There has been no official statement from Iran yet, but initial reactions in Tehran have been filled with skepticism.

What is the position of the IRGC?

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)-affiliated Tasnim news agency said Iran had never sought an extension to the ceasefire. He reiterated that the Americans could break the blockade by force if necessary. Advisor to Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that Trump’s announcement has no meaning, it can only be a trick.

Even from Iran’s side, talks are being described as a waste of time as the US is still continuing the blockade. The second round of peace talks was supposed to take place in Pakistan, but there is uncertainty about it. US Vice President JD Vance’s visit to Islamabad has been cancelled. Threats and vigilance are currently going on from both sides, but the ceasefire has extended for some time.
