What is the yellow line that Israel will kill as soon as it is crossed? Built in Lebanon after Gaza

Despite the cease-fire between Israel and Lebanon, there are reports of tensions. Meanwhile, Israel has now drawn a yellow line in Lebanon as well as in Gaza. Yesterday, on April 18, the Israeli army gave information about this. Speaking about the Yellow Line for the first time, the Israeli military said that in the past 24 hours, IDF forces identified terrorists deployed south of the Yellow Line in southern Lebanon who had violated ceasefire agreements. These militants advanced towards forces north of the Yellow Line in a manner that posed an immediate threat.
Along with this, the army also said that they have fired at some places. Israel also carried out two airstrikes on Sunday, one of which targeted a group of Hezbollah fighters who were advancing toward the Yellow Line, according to Israel. An Israeli army spokesman also said the operation did not violate the ceasefire. The army said it was a step taken in self-defence to avert danger.

What is the yellow line?
Israel was the first to draw the Yellow Line in Gaza. The yellow line is a type of boundary i.e. an imaginary line drawn on the ground. The function of this line is to separate the territories controlled by the two rivals. Israel says it has now drawn the Yellow Line, the Yellow Line, in southern Lebanon. This line marks Israeli forces and areas where there may be danger.
A yellow line was also drawn in Gaza
Israel has also drawn the Yellow Line in Gaza. After the October 2025 Gaza ceasefire, Israel divided the Gaza Strip into two parts, with Israel controlling the southern and northern parts. The line is marked with yellow concrete blocks, indicating Israeli military control of more than 50 percent of Gaza. It is designed as a buffer zone.

What will change with the Yellow Line?
Israel constructs and strictly monitors the Yellow Line for security reasons. Israel operates on this line under a special strategy. The Israeli Defense Force monitors the entire line 24 hours a day using high-tech cameras, motion sensors and drones to prevent any infiltration from the other side of the Yellow Line. Israel has built high concrete walls along the Yellow Line in Gaza. Its purpose is to intercept the enemy and identify the line.
